Call for Artists-The Flags of Nature
Co-Create a Flag Installation Celebrating Nature
Minehead and Coast Development Trust is excited to announce a unique opportunity for a Somerset-based artist or creative practitioner to collaborate with us on an inspiring public art project. We are seeking a talented individual to co-create a series of 12 flags that will reflect and celebrate the rich natural environment and species surrounding Minehead.
About the Project
These beautifully designed flags will serve as a vibrant visual celebration of the local landscape and act as an artistic interpretation of a series of nature-based projects taking place throughout 2025. The final installation will be showcased at the Minehead Bay Festival on 30th August 2025, offering an engaging and thought-provoking display for visitors and the community alike.
Who We’re Looking For
We are inviting applications from Somerset-based artists or creative practitioners with experience in community engagement and public art. The selected artist will work with support from us to develop designs that reflect the environmental themes and projects being undertaken in the area.
